Which way to reach us

Pick whichever fits your day. All three reach the same people.

• Call if you want to talk it through now and you have ten minutes between jobs.
• Text if you are on site and want to send the basics in a few lines. We can reply by text or call you back at a time you choose.
• Email if you want to attach things, such as a screenshot of an ad bill, a list of logins you know about, or a recent marketing report from someone else.

Whichever you choose, a real person reads it, and the reply comes from someone who can answer the question.

What to include in your first message

You do not need a brief. A few facts help us give you a straight answer faster:

1. Your business and trade, for example "residential electrician" or "independent pet supply shop".
2. Where you work, by municipality: Saanich, Langford, Oak Bay, Sidney and so on. See the areas page if you are not sure how to describe it.
3. What you have now: website, Google profile, ads, social accounts, any agency or freelancer.
4. What you want gone: the task you most want to stop doing.
5. Capacity: roughly how much more work you could take on next month.

A template you can copy

Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name]. We do [type of work] in [Municipality] and [Municipality]. We have [a website / a Google profile / ads] but [the problem, e.g. nobody updates it]. I'd like to hand off [task]. We could take on about [number] more jobs a month. Best time to reach me is [time].

What happens after you get in touch

1. We reply, usually within one business day, and arrange a time to talk if you have not called already.
2. The first conversation, about 30 minutes. We ask about your work, your numbers and what you already have. We tell you plainly whether a hand-off makes sense.
3. A written plan, if it does. It sets out the takeover, the channels we would run, the plan and price, and what we will report. Nothing starts until you agree.
4. The takeover, once you say yes. The marketing takeover page explains the first 30 days in detail.

If a hand-off is not the right step, we will say so and suggest what to do instead, whether that is fixing one account yourself, hiring someone, or waiting until you have more capacity.

Before you send anything sensitive

Please do not text or email passwords. We will ask you to add us as a user on each platform instead, so your own login stays private. If you need to share a document with customer details, tell us first and we will agree a safer way to receive it.

We only contact people who have contacted us first, and we will not add you to any marketing list. Our privacy page explains how we handle the details you send.
