Done-for-you campaigns mean we build your ads, watch them every week and change them when your calendar changes, without you ever opening Google Ads or Meta. You agree a budget and a cost-per-lead ceiling with us once. After that, your only job is telling us when you are slammed or quiet.
We aim the campaigns at the parts of Greater Victoria you really want to drive to. A Colwood-based electrician and a Sidney landscaper should not be paying for clicks from the same places.
What is included
- Account setup in your name, if you do not already have one, with billing on your card. See the takeover page for how we handle existing accounts.
- Search campaigns on Google for the services that make you money, with location targeting set to your real service area.
- Meta campaigns on Facebook and Instagram where they suit the business, for example for seasonal offers or services people do not search for until they see them.
- Landing pages written for each campaign, so a click about electrical panel upgrades does not land on a generic home page. (We market the electricians who do that work; we never do it ourselves.)
- Conversion tracking that counts calls, texts and email clicks, so we can report a real cost per lead.
- Weekly checks on search terms, budgets and wasted spend, with negative keywords added as we find junk.
Who it is for
Ads suit businesses where one new customer is worth well above the cost of finding them. In Victoria that often means roofing, renovation, electrical, plumbing, landscape builds, cleaning contracts, and clinics or studios with repeat visits.
Here is a check you can do yourself. Say your average job is worth $1,800 and your margin on it is 35%, so each job earns $630 before overheads. If one in four leads books, you can afford to pay up to about $157 per lead and still break even on the first job. Anything below that is profit, and repeat customers make it better. If your number comes out at $8, ads are probably not your channel.
Timeline
- Week 1: budget, target areas, services and cost-per-lead ceiling agreed in writing.
- Weeks 2–3: campaigns, landing pages and tracking built and checked.
- Weeks 4–8: the test period. We expect some waste while the platforms learn, and we cut it weekly.
- Month 3 onward: budgets move toward what is working, and seasonal changes are planned ahead of time.
How results are measured
We count leads you can hear or read: tracked calls, texts and email clicks, each tied to a campaign. Clicks and impressions appear in the report only as background.
The figure that matters most is cost per lead against the ceiling we agreed, followed by how many of those leads you say turned into booked work. The monthly owner brief shows both, in plain numbers, every month.
What we need from you
Very little, but it has to be timely. A done-for-you campaign only works if we know about changes in your business before the ads do.
- A text when you are booked out, short-staffed or taking a week off.
- A short monthly note on which leads turned into paid work. A rough tally is fine.
- Your average job value and margin, updated if your prices change.
- A list of jobs you do not want, so we can stop paying for those searches.
Mistakes to avoid
- Targeting all of Vancouver Island. If you will not drive to Sooke, do not pay for clicks from Sooke.
- Sending every ad to the home page. People who searched for one service want to see that service.
- Leaving ads running when you are booked solid. It wastes money and annoys customers who cannot get a date.
- Judging the campaign in week two. Early numbers are noisy; give the test period its full length.

Frequently asked questions
How much should I spend on ads?
Start from what a customer is worth to you and how many new jobs you can handle. We work out a test budget from those two numbers and put a cost-per-lead ceiling in writing before anything goes live.
Who pays Google and Meta?
You do, directly, on your own card in your own account. Our fee is separate, so you can always see exactly what the platforms charged.
What if the ads do not work?
We set a test period and a target before we start. If the campaigns miss it, we change the approach or recommend stopping, and the brief shows the numbers either way.
Can you pause ads when I am too busy?
Yes. Send a text saying you are booked up, and we reduce or pause spend the same business day, then bring it back when you have room.
